HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO PLAY MOUNTED GAMES?

If you are old enough to ride, you are old enough to play Mounted Games. We have riders who begin at a very young age and continue right through to adulthood. A couple of very active seniors round out the playing field at local Mounted Games competitions!

WHAT KIND OF PONY DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE?

A pony that listens to your requests is best – the breed, age and colour are not as important as your pony’s easy-going attitude and calm personality. We have ponies as young as five and as old as twenty-five at competitions – however they need to be 15 hands or under to compete.

I'VE NEVER PLAYED GAMES BUT I WANT TO TRY. HOW CAN I DO THAT?

You can get in touch with us at Equine Mounted Games Canada and ask how to get involved. It’s easy – email equinemountedgamescanada@gmail.com or find us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/CanadaMountedGames. We would be pleased to help you get started!

WHERE DO YOU HAVE COMPETITIONS?

Competitions are held in early spring, summer, and early fall at locations in Central and Western Ontario. This year, you can find us east of Newmarket, near Elora, and in Minden at the Haliburton Fair. We have plans for Mounted Games demonstrations at the Uxbridge and Arthur Fall Fairs. EMGC has a group of riders in Alberta who enjoy competitions, demonstrations, and clinics as well!

WHERE CAN I TAKE LESSONS OR GET COACHING FOR MOUNTED GAMES?

Contact equinemountedgamescanada@gmail.com to get in touch with a coach or clinician! We can come to you for lessons or provide a fun games clinic for you and your friends! All ages and abilities have enjoyed learning how to play Mounted Games!
